Bed & Breakfast
Room #1
Country Gardens has three guest rooms, all situated on the first floor of our Cape Cod-style home. The rooms are separated from the common areas by French doors.
Our first guest room, the largest, is comfortably furnished with a queen-size bed. Decorated in shades of light blue and white, it has a writing desk, a small television and a private bathroom. Like all of our guest rooms, Room 1 is air conditioned; it has a southern exposure and faces the gardner's potting shed, the greenhouse and numerous gardens.
Room #2
Our second guest room faces the front of the house and the front porch. It is a quiet room with a queen-size bed, occasional chair and a small wall-mounted television. The walls are painted in soothing, earthy green tones. This room can share a bathroom or, at an increased rate, the bathroom, which is across the hall from the bedroom, can be private.
Room #3
The third guest room has recently been renovated in a contemporary color scheme. It has two single beds, a wall-mounted television and also faces the front of the property. This room, with our second guestroom easily accommodates families of four or two people traveling together. It shares a bathroom with Room 2, but at an increased rate the bathroom can be private.
The B&B has two common areas on the first floor and a newly redecorated entertainment room on the lower level, where guests will find a large-screen television, a microwave and a small refrigerator. Another favorite gathering spot on the main level is the sunroom, whose southern exposure and wall of windows help brighten any day. The sunroom opens onto a large deck running the length of the house—a great place to gather for breakfast on sunny summer mornings.
We provide our guests with ample common space both indoors and out. The gardens are for our guests’ enjoyment as well as ours.
