Rooms

Our first guestroom is furnished with a queen size, wrought iron bed, writing desk and has a private bath. Furnishings are a combination of old and new, and bedding is soft, smooth and welcoming.

The second guest room done in warm green tones also has a queen size bed and comfortable reading chair. The bedding is sumptuous and the room can be best described as cozy.

The third guest room has two single beds with an American theme. Combined with the second guest room, this room is an excellent choice for families. The full, shared bath is located across from the bedrooms.

All guest rooms are air conditioned. In addition, the B&B is a free wi-fi zone.

Guest rooms are located on the first floor of our Cape Cod style home and are separated by French doors from the common areas. The more formal living room is welcoming with its leather chair which is great for reading the paper or a quick nap.

The sunroom, also done in shades of green brings the outdoors in. This room is a special room. It is relaxing, inviting and warmed by a propane fired stove. With three walls of doors and windows, one can't help but be drawn outdoors to the potting shed and gardens. It's also put to use as a cozy breakfast site for couples or the solo traveler. Most often, guests are found in this common space reading, conversing or enjoying their morning coffee.

A more relaxed, informal common space is on the lower level. This room provides guests with a butler's pantry complete with refrigerator and microwave oven. There is also cable television for the occasional television viewing.

"I've never before had all the pillows I wanted so for the past two days I have literally wallowed in my luxurious bed and enjoyed the bountiful beauty of this marvelous home."
