Bed & Breakfast
Bed & Breakfast
Country Gardens can be many things to many people. For Kim, it's a quite space to write her blog or finish her next story. Kim lives near Country Gardens, but it has become her writing refuge.
Grandparents love our peace and quite. It's a time to re-charge their batteries. Grandchildren are great but they sure are active. Country Gardens is a place for them to rest after a full day with the grandkids.
Bed & Breakfasts have always been a magnet for food lovers. Our repeat guests frequently comment on the freshness and originality of each breakfast. Add to a great a great breakfast a well dressed table (candles, linens and china) and our guests are sent off each morning gastronomically and visually satisfied.
Rooms
Country Gardens has 3 guest rooms, all of which are situated on the first floor of our Cape Cod style home. The rooms are separated by French doors from the common areas.
Our first guest room is the largest. The room is comfortably furnished with a queen size bed, writing desk, small television and a private bathroom. The second guest room, faces the front of the house and the front porch. It is a quiet room with a queen size bed, small wall mounted television and occasional chair. The third guest room is more contemporary in color than the other two rooms. It has two single beds, a wall mounted television and faces the front of the property.
Food
Through thirteen years of cooking breakfast there are some breakfast dishes that have become staples here at Country Gardens. Most mornings we serve a full breakfast but even our continental breakfasts are hearty and guests always leave fully satisfied.
Garden
Six acres gives Ralph and Joan plenty of room to experiment. Some gardens are an enourmous success, while others are trial and error. Mostly we garden with perennials but the urns and ports that adorn the wedding site are usually filled with bright, cheery annuals. There is also a vegetable garden, herb garden and cutting garden.
